My story

I learned to write twice.

I learned Arabic letters at school, then learned them again from a master calligrapher in Sharjah, who made me practise one letter for a month. It took years before he let me sign a piece.

Every piece here is written by hand with a reed pen. I still sketch each commission first, so you see it before the ink goes down.

Commissions

How a commission works.

  1. Choose script and size

    Thuluth, Diwani, Naskh or Kufi, from 30 cm to 1 metre.

  2. Send your text

    A name, a verse or a line of poetry, by form or WhatsApp.

  3. Approve the sketch

    We send a sketch within five days and adjust it with you.

  4. Receive it framed

    The final piece arrives framed in two to three weeks.

Questions

Are the prints framed?

Yes. Every print comes in a black or oak frame with glass, ready to hang.

Can we choose the colours?

For commissions, yes. Choose the ink, the paper and the frame.

Do you deliver outside the UAE?

Yes, across the GCC. Delivery is priced at checkout.

Do you make pieces for offices?

Yes. Large pieces and sets for offices and majlis rooms, by quote.
